Learn Pray Blog is the official blog of the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy. Our goal is to create a space where Virginians can promote the faith voice on issues such as poverty & the working poor, at-risk children & youth, Caring for God’s Creation and others.

We encourage faithful Virginians to:
LEARN about the issues,
PRAY for discernment and
BLOG for a more just and compassionate Commonwealth.

About The Interfaith Center
The Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy is Virginia’s oldest faith-based advocacy group. We are a nonpartisan coalition of faith communities working to create progressive public policy by engaging people of faith, educating the public about social issues, the legislative process, and the call to advocacy.

Our Vision
A world where people of all faiths cooperate to create compassionate communities that are just, peaceful, equitable and sustainable.

Our Mission
To empower Virginians to create social justice for all by advocating for systemic change.

Our Work
We unite people of faith in Virginia. Through partnerships with other statewide non-profit advocacy organizations and our own grassroots networks, we empower faithful advocates to:

LEARN about the issues challenging our communities
PRAY for guidance and discernment, and
ACT to make Virginia a more just and compassionate Commonwealth.
